Arthur Wellington Alexander Nelson Hood, 2nd Viscount Bridport, 5th Duke of Bronté (15 December 1839 - 28 March 1924, Vale, Guernsey) was a British Army officer and nobleman.
The son of General Sir Alexander Hood and Lady Mary Penelope Hill (daughter of Arthur Hill), succeeding to his father's titles in 1904. He became a captain in the 57th Foot in 1857, retiring from the army in 1870, and also became Justice of the Peace for Somerset, Companion of the Order of the Bath (from 10 May 1892) and Conservative MP for West Somerset (1868-83). In retirement he was Colonel of the West Somerset Yeomanry Cavalry (1872-95)
On 4 April 1872 he married Lady Maria Georgiana Julia Fox-Strangways, daughter of Hon. John George Charles Fox-Strangways and Amelia Marjoribanks. Their daughter Mary married Sir Herbert Cook. He is buried at Vale Cemetery, Lancrosse Vale, Guernsey.
